1974 – Diploma Fine Arts (hons) in painting Ilam Art School, University of Canterbury.

1976 – 1986 The early middle, muddled years; a brief encounter with art teaching followed by office and library work all the while growing a family and persistently painting.

That particular journey was never completed as my path led away from the university and the church back into my own painting.
