Our Art

Our Heritage

Atkins Gallery is located within Founders Heritage Park in Nelson, New Zealand. You’ll find the gallery in the elegant space within the Anchor Inn, in Levien Way, past the church and Nelson Evening Mail buildings.

The gallery specialises in paintings by the region’s most famous artist, the late Sir Mountford Tosswill (Toss) Woollaston.  Original drawings and paintings of the Nelson/Tasman region’s landscape and some figurative work are on display for sale.

The gallery is open on Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm all year, and public holidays. You can also visit the gallery on Sunday afternoons during the summer months.  The gallery is open by appointment at other times. To get in touch email here
